ROGER HERRIDGE admits he would be disappointed if Binfield could not break into the Hellenic Premier top six this season.
The Moles have finished eighth in each of the last two campaigns and currently sit seventh with 11 games to play.
With the wet weather taking its toll in recent weeks, Binfield have played just four games in

2018 but are due back in action away to fourth-placed Flackwell Heath on Saturday (3pm).
And it will be a clash of two sides in fine form with the Moles’ 3-2 loss against Windsor last time out their first defeat in nine matches, while Flackwell are unbeaten in eight.
“We’ve put ourselves in a position now where we’re in and around where we want to be,” Herridge told The Wokingham Paper.
“We still want to finish in the top six.
“If we win our game in hand on Brimscombe, we’ll be in the top six and we’ve still got Brimscombe to play at home.
“We’re still hoping to make sure we get in the top six and stay in the top six by the time the end of the season comes and that’s our target and we’re still very confident of achieving it.
He added: “We’ll train with the hope that the game is on at Flackwell on Saturday.
“I did look at Flackwell as one of the sides that if we kept our run going, they were maybe somebody we could target.
“They’ve won the last few games so they’re a little bit away from us now so we know it’s going to be a hard game.
“They’re a nice club. There’s been a few personnel changes there on the pitch, Marcus (Richardson) has made some good signings.
“They’ve certainly got a threat going forward that’s for sure, with the boy (Charlie) Samuel in particular, who is a real handful.”
With neighbours’ Bracknell Town’s continued success as well as three Hellenic League clubs reaching the FA Vase quarter-finals, some of the spotlight has come Binfield at times this

season.
But with the Moles setting their sights on a highest finish since 2014-15, where they came sixth, Herridge says he is looking to get the club back where they belong.
“Taking over from Mark Tallentire was some big shoes to fill,” he said.
“Mark did extremely well at Binfield. He got them runners-up, he finished maybe third or fourth one year as well and he won some cups.
“There’s been a bit of rebuilding going on in terms of the resurgence of our local neighbours in one direction and the clout that they’ve got and the clout that Thatcham have got in the other direction.
“I think we’re doing alright.
“We should be finishing in the top six.
“We’ve got no divine right because there’s a lot of good teams in the league.
“I’m not going to say it’s a massive achievement. A club with the facilities we’ve got down at Binfield, we’d like to think that it’s a place that players would want to come and play.
“I think if we don’t finish in the top six then it’s certainly a disappointment.”
Following Saturday’s league clash, Binfield are due to visit Bishop’s Cleeve Development in the Floodlit Cup on Wednesday evening (7.45pm), with Virginia Water awaiting the winners in the quarter-finals.
