SHINFIELD Parish Council is inviting residents to pay their respects on Remembrance Sunday.
A parade and service, featuring a two-minute silence, will start at 10.45am to remember those who lost their lives in conflict.
The tribute is conducted in the UK and other countries within the Commonwealth, coinciding with the time in 1918 at which the First World War came to an end.
Refreshments will be provided at the School Green Centre from 11.25am.
The parish council is asking for all cars to be removed from the School Green car park by midnight on Saturday, November 12. It will reopen at 1pm on Sunday, November 13.
