A BOROUGH group for artists and art lovers is offering art demonstration evenings in the town centre.
Wokingham Art Society ‘art and entertainment’ sessions will give visitors an opportunity to learn from artists how to create a masterpiece.
In May, artist Jonathan Newey will be showing how he produces pictures of buildings using line and wash technique.
And in June Brian Smith RI will be demonstrating how he creates cityscapes using oils.
The society’s members will be eagerly preparing for their Annual Exhibition, which takes place every year in St Paul’s Parish Rooms.
Art Demonstrations will take place at the Bradbury Centre, Wokingham, on Tuesday, May 20 (Jonathan Newey) and on Tuesday, June 17 (Brian Smith).
Both sessions start at 7.30pm, with entrance costing £3 for Members and £5 for non-members.
People wanting to see the group’s Annual Exhibition, can drop in to St Paul’s Parish Rooms which will host the event for two weeks, from Saturday, July 19 through to Saturday, August 2.
