POLICE are appealing for witnesses following some festive fisticuffs close to Wokingham’s railway station.
Officers were called to Station Road just after midnight on Saturday, December 23.
In a tweet to The Wokingham Paper, local police officers said that they attended the scene after reports that a fight had broken out near to the train station at 12.40am.
They said: “On arrived it was established that persons had been assaulted. Injuries [were] not serious as [an] ambulance was declined.”
Anyone who saw anything at that time is asked to call officers on 101, quoting reference 46 of 23-12-17.
