A WOKINGHAM business is looking to stitch up its customers – but it’s all above board.
Based in Holme Grange Craft Village, Sewisfaction is planning its annual Big Summer Stitch Up on Saturday, July 13.
Organisers said that it will welcome people from all over the country for the event – last year, people came Devon, Kent and Leicester to take part.
And participants can meet like-minded crafters over cake and prosecco while stocking up on crafting goodies. There will be demonstrations from local textile artist Lucy Dorothy, among others, as well as a sewing pattern swap, a contest to find the best handmade outfit, quizzes and and goody bags.
Proceeds from the fun event will go to MacMillan Cancer Support – last year, the event raised more £600 for Make-A-Wish.
Entry to the event is free, but attendees are encouraged to visit www.sewisfaction.co.uk to RSVP.
