A SEWING machine class is being held aimed at beginners.
The introductory sessions are held at a Holme Grange Craft Village-based business, Sewisfaction.
It aims to give a starting point for people who have just bought a machine and want to learn the basics before moving on to dressmaking or quilting. By the end of the course, participants will have learnt enough to make a tote bag.
It runs over five weeks, and there are sessions in the morning from 10.30am to 1pm, or evenings from 6pm to 8.30pm.
Places include use of machines, tools and threads, as well as patterns and tea, coffee and biscuits. However, participants will need to bring their own fabric from the second week onwards. This will be explained at the sessions.
The next course starts on Monday, September 11, and places cost £195.
