Contractors from Wokingham Borough Council are set to conduct investigations into a sink-hole that appeared over the weekend.
The Terrace has been closed at its junction with Reading Road following the discovery on Saturday afternoon.
A sink-hole that appeared in a Charvil car park in November 2023 took more than four months to repair due to the need for extensive survey work to assess the extent of the problems.
A spokesperson for Wokingham Borough Council told Wokingham Today; “We’ve got a team going out to investigate today (Tuesday) to try and determine the cause, as it wasn’t obvious when they looked at it yesterday.
“Once we know what caused it, we’ll come up with a plan for repairs.”
