Sky Sports golf presenter and former European tour player Nick Dougherty cut the ribbon to open the new Top Tracer driving range at Hennerton Golf Club.
Club Manager Paul Deaney and Golf Manager Glenn Johnson gave a short introduction before handing over to Nick Dougherty. After he had cut the ribbon, Nick joined everyone inside the new range. Here he showed some exclusive ‘tee time’ tips, encouraged audience interaction on golf swing advice and demonstrated some impressive golf shots.
After the range, there was a golf Q&A in the clubhouse. Nick also shared stories from his time playing on the European Tour as well as his experience as a Sky Sports presenter, from the US Masters to this year’s Ryder Cup from America.
When asked about the driving range, Nick Dougherty said ‘It is visually stunning and has a very high-spec interior design. The members at Hennerton are lucky to have such a beautiful practice facility.’
