The latest data from the Office for National Statistics has revealed that the average house price in Wokingham stood at £510,000 in October 2025, up by 3.2% in the previous twelve months.
Private rents in Wokingham rose to an average of £1,499, an annual increase of 8.5% from £1,343 in August 2024.
The average price paid by first-time buyers was £400,000 in October 2025, while for homes bought with a mortgage, the average house price was £521,000 i.
Across the South East, the average house price in October 2025 was £384,000, which was in line with a year earlier (£381,000).
Across the UK, a home sold for an average of £270,000 in October 2025, which was up slightly from the October 2024 average of £265,000.
In the year to October 2025, the average price for semi-detached properties in Wokingham rose by 5.0%, while the average price for flats stayed around the same over the year.
