Sonning Ladies rounded off a perfect weekend with a dramatic cup win over Henley.
Having already seen off Wallingford 6-0 to go six points clear in Trysports Premier 1 on Saturday, focus turned to the Investec Tier 2 Championships.
And Sonning again triumphed, dispatching South Clubs’ Women’s 3A side Henley on penalty flicks following a 2-2 draw at Sonning Lane.
That win sets up a fourth round home clash against University of Birmingham 3s on February 24.
Elsewhere this weekend, Sonning’s men were thrashed 8-0 at Maidenhead while South Berkshire lost 4-2 against West Hampstead 2s, despite goals from Tom King and Mauritz Glazener in the MBBO Regional leagues.
South Berkshire Ladies edged past Slough Ladies 2s 1-0 to stay fourth in Trysports Premier 1.
