JOKES and scares are promised from a Wokingham-based charity that supports families, thanks to a half-term event it is encouraging families to save the date for.
First Days is setting up a pumpkin trail around Swinley Forest in neighbouring Bracknell.
Running from Saturday, October 21 through to Sunday, October 29, the event starts from The Look Out, off Nine Mile Ride, and features a 2km (1.2 mile) trail. Along the way, youngsters can discover jokes and seasonal displays.
Those who buy a map for a suggested donation of £3, and complete the trail will then be rewarded with a treat.
All money raised goes to help First Days continue its work.
