HE’S THE puppy that toddlers love, and he’s coming direct from the printed page.
Spot the Dog is getting ready for a birthday party, and children of all ages are invited to join him.
Based on the Eric Hill books Where Is Spot? and Happy Birthday Spot, the new show brings the pup and his friends to life in an interactive and accessible show for ages two upwards.
It will include integrated Makaton, free party hats, songs, dancing and interactive party games.
Spot, has been an integral part of early childhood since he first appeared in the classic lift-the-flap storybook Where’s Spot? in 1980.
With his inquisitive nature, sense of curiosity, boundless energy, and simple shapes and colours, Spot helps families, babies and toddlers explore the world around them.
With more than 65 million books sold worldwide, Spot has been a family favourite for over 40 years, with books translated into over 60 languages he consistently remains within the top 5 bestselling picture books for Penguin Random House UK.
Thomas Merrington, creative director at Penguin Ventures, said: “We are thrilled that Spot will be returning to the stage in this brand-new adaptation.

The show is at South Hill Park in Bracknell at 2pm and 4pm on Sunday, March 10. Tickets cost £17.50, or £65 for a family of four.
