STMA HQ Wokingham’s own Alex Pickup, 14, has made a name for himself after winning a championship belt at the Sandee Muay Thai Open Championship.
Competing against some of the country’s top young fighters, Alex delivered a standout performance that secured him the top spot in his division.
Representing STMA HQ, Alex demonstrated impressive skill, composure, and dedication throughout the tournament. His hard work and perseverance paid off, earning him both the belt and the admiration of his coaches and peers.
“Alex has really grown over the past year—not just in height and strength, but in confidence and focus too,” said one of his coaches.
“This win is a huge milestone and well deserved.”
Alex now has his sights set on future competitions and continues to train hard at STMA HQ, determined to build on his success and inspire others in the Wokingham community.
STMA HQ offers training for teenagers and juniors, with classes held every Tuesday and Friday at 6 PM.
