MEMBERS of a society will be able to see a film starring Penélope Cruz, Milena Smit, and Israel Elejalde.
Parallel Mothers is a warm melodrama about two single mothers who meet in a maternity ward and give birth on the same day.
One is middle aged, the other is young and scared.
It’s a meeting that will change their lives forever.
Written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar, the film was first released in January this year.
It will be shown by the Wokingham Film Society at the Whitty Theatre, at Luckley House School.
The event is on Thursday, October 27.
Doors open at 6.45pm, with the film starting at 7:30pm.
