A FILM project will tell the story of Ruby, a regular volunteer at California Country Park parkrun.
When Ruby died last year, a bench was installed in the park where she used to cheer the runners on.
A film to remember her is being made by Windrush Generations Wokingham in partnership with Holme Grange School.
The group is looking for people who knew Ruby to take part, speaking either on or off camera.
Young people interested in interviewing or filming live events are invited to contact the organisers.
Training and learning opportunities are available as part of the project.
Filming will take place on Saturday, July1, from 8.30am to 11am at California Country Park parkrun.
The short film will be screened at a Wokingham Schools’ Film Festival in 2023/24.
