THERE are times when you can’t beat a bit of cheese, and it’s being paired with chicken just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Burger King has teamed up Doritos to create the new Tangy Cheese Chicken Fries, which have just gone on sale.
They are different anyone you’ve experienced before.
A sequel to the popular Doritos Chilli Heatwave chicken fries, they are batons of chicken coated in a layer inspired Doritos Tangy Cheese tortillas.
The result is an unusual combination of juicy chicken with a crunchy exterior, and a pleasant fusion of flavours in the mouth.
They are available in six pieces for £4.99, nine for £5.99, and 20 for £7.49 – perfect for sharing.
For now, they are available in store at its Reading and Wokingham branches, and exclusively on Just Eat for delivery. Then, from February 19, they can be found on Deliveroo and Uber Eats apps.
And to mark their return, until Valentine’s Day ends, customers ordering a Burger King via Just Eat and spending more than £25 can receive six free Doritos Tangy Cheese Chicken fries.
