FAMILIES going down to Wokingham during half term are in for a big surprise…
Wokingham Lions Club will be holding their annual Teddy Bear Hunt throughout the town centre between October 21 and 31, with children encouraged to search for 10 bears hidden in shop windows.
Every child who finds all 10 bears will be entered into a draw to win a teddy.
Sue Jackson, President, Wokingham Lions Club, said: “It’s a chance for children to have some fun, win a prize and raise some money for local charities.”
Entry forms cost £1, and can be picked up at the Wokingham Information Centre in the Town Hall or at Antique Rose in Bush Walk.
Completed forms must be returned to these two locations by October 31, when the winners will be drawn.
The parent or guardian of each winning entry will be contacted to arrange delivery of the teddy bear.
