POLICE are hunting a young gang who are accused of racially abusing a taxi driver outside a row of shops in Norreys.
The 43-year-old victim was outside the Barrett Crescent shopping parade when the six-strong gang attacked him.
As well as hurling verbal and racist abuse at him, they also threw something at his taxi.
Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses to the attack, which took place on Tuesday, June 5 around 6pm to 6.30pm.
One of the boys is described as around 16-years-old, of mixed race, with protruding ears.
Another is described as slim and tall, of mixed race with a thin moustache, also around 16- years-old.
The other suspects are described as being aged between 12 and 16 and both male and female.
Investigating officer, PC Helen Craven based at Loddon Valley Police Station said: “During this incident, a man was verbally and racially abused by a group of young people.
“We would like to hear from anyone who saw this group before or during the incident.
“It is thought the same group were on the Norreys Estate between 5.30pm and 6.45pm on the same evening and were seen throwing stones off people’s driveways.
“This group could be linked to several similar incidents and we are keen to identify the individuals involved.
