Division 2A

Eversley maintained their fantastic start to the season as they remain unbeaten after thrashing Maidenhead & Bray by 124 runs.

Eversley batted first and had several impressive batting displays amongst their ranks as Tom Nichols top scored with 81 not out, while Jack Ford followed closely behind as he knocked 68 runs, with Eversley finishing on 235.

They then matched their batting performance with an equally good bowling display as Chris Last (3-14) and Ben Barnard (3-22) helped to dismiss Maidenhead all out for just 111 after 34.2 overs.

Division 2B

Hurst have extended their stay at the top of the division as they picked up their sixth straight victory, storming to an easy win with a nine wicket triumph against Aldershot.

Hurst bowled and fielded superbly to dismiss Aldershot all out for a small total of just 60 runs from 25.3 overs as Andrew Ruddock (5-35) and Christopher McCarthy (5-20) were in excellent form. Hurst then batted efficiently to seal victory, which they did after just 26.2 overs, losing just one wicket in the process.

Finchampstead 2s were beaten comfortably in the same division, as they fell to a six wicket defeat against Reading who surpassed the 106 target set by Finch in just 21.1 overs.

Division 4A

White Waltham and Sonning are both on level pegging at the top of the division after they both recorded victories at the weekend.

A tremendous first innings from Sonning saw Dean smash a century before Parr and Crofts both reached half centuries to help their team to 268 runs as they declared having only lost two wickets.

Mahmood top scored for Reading 2s but they were unable to get anywhere near the target set by Sonning as Crofts took three wickets to help his side bowl Reading all out for 178 after 48.4 overs.

Rahul Mohindru put in an excellent bowling performance which saw him end with 5-52 as White Waltham bowled North Maidenhead 2s all out for 189 runs.

White Waltham were composed with the bat as they only dropped two wickets before surpassing the target set by North Maidenhead as Chris Metherell (102) played a fine innings to score the majority of the runs.

Division 5B

Eversley 2s remain the only unbeaten side in the division after they sailed to a 102-run victory against Thatcham Town 2s to increase their top of the table lead.

Alex Davidson hit a remarkable innings of 124 for Eversley to help them to a huge total of 281 from 44.1 overs. Rezaul Roni (5-45) and Nick Rigg (3-49) were both in outstanding form with the ball as Eversley bowled their opponents out for 179 to seal another victory.

Meanwhile, Binfield 2s stay close behind Eversley in second place after they drew with Royal Ascot 2s.

Binfield posted 234-8dec from 48 overs with Jason Lynch hitting 67 runs, while Royal Ascot scored 162-9 from 46 overs.

Division 6B

Finchampstead 4s were beaten heavily by Purley on Thames 2 while Hurst 2s moved up to fourth with a 76-run win over Theale & Tilehurst 2s.

Finch fell short of the 230 target set by Purley on Thames as they could only post 120 runs from 42 overs before being bowled all out.

Hurst wrapped up victory in style with a phenomenal bowling display to remove Theale & Tilehurst all out for just 87 runs after they had set a target of 163 in the first innings.

Division 7A

There were several cancelled matches throughout the division due to the weather as Wokingham 4s and Wargrave 3s were unable to play. Meanwhile, Binfield 3s drew with Newbury 2s after their opponents posted 146 from 48 overs after Binfield had scored 176 from 52 overs in the first innings.

Division 8A

Eversley 3s made it six wins out of six as they stay at the summit of the table, while Finchampstead 5s moved up to third with a win but Wokingham 5s saw their fixture against Theale & Tilehurst 3s abandoned.

Eversley took control of the game with a breathtaking batting performance in the first innings as Leach (90), Duex-Papas (74*) and Lizardo (64) contributed to a huge total of 306 from 40 overs.

Thatcham couldn’t match Eversley’s free hitting batting display as they fell 124 runs short of the target after posting 182-7 from 40 overs.

Finch sealed victory in the second innings as they caught the 174 set by Bagshot after 39.3 overs after Simon Eldridge hit 78 not out and Sam Bishop knocked 53 runs after a superb bowling performance from Charlie Marsden in the first innings (5-32).
