PEDESTRIANS passing by the house of a Hallowe’en-obsessed six year old may be astonished to see enormous skeletons on the front drive.
They have taken up residency at the home of Arthur, an Earley youngster passionate about the October festival.
“Arthur has been obsessed with Halloween since he was a baby, loving anything spooky and creepy,” said his dad, Lee, who alerted Wokingham.Today to the family’s boney lodgers.

This year a 12 foot tall skeleton the family calls Skelly has travelled over 3,400 miles from America to share half term with Arthur, and has brought his his ground-breaker friend with him.

“They are both drawing quite the attention from passers by,” said Lee.
“People are stopping for a ‘Skelly selfie’ or two.
“The display looks great at night.”

Lee wonders if trick-or-treaters will be brave enough to creep to the family’s front door for a Hallowe’en treat without getting caught by Skelly and his friend.
Hallowe’en, or to give it its full title, (All Hallows Even) historically took place the night before All Hallows’ Day, which is now known as All Saints Day.
