CARS have been targeted during a spate of thefts in Twyford.
Most of the vehicles targeted had been left unlocked, and generally cash had been stolen from inside door pockets or the glove box.
Cars parked in the areas bordered by Hurst Road and Waltham Road have been targeted, including St Michaels Court, Southview Close, Springfield Park, Woodpecker Close, Paddock Heights, Wessex Gardens, and Byron Road.
Motorists are being reminded never to leave their car unlocked or with the windows open, even if only leaving it for a short time. Never leave anything on display, and never leave valuables inside the car, even if they are locked away in the boot or glovebox.
