Thieves returned to a supermarket they raided just a fortnight ago, once again stealing cigarattes from the kiosk close to the store entrance.
The Sainsbury’s store at King Street Lane in Winnersh was broken into overnight between Monday, February 13 and Tuesday, Februrary 14.
Thames Valley Police said they are investigating the burglary in which four or five masked offenders broke into the store by forcing a door.
A spokesperson said: “They stole cigarettes and then made off.”
The store was previously raided in the early hours of Thursday, January 26, and again cigarettes from the kiosk was their target.
The police spokesperson added: “We are appealing to anyone with any information about the incident please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
“If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
