A GROUP that meets to share environmental ideas over a social drink in Wokingham celebrates its third birthday this week.
To mark the occasion organisers say there will be speakers on nature restoration and citizen science, as well as a topical pub quiz and stories from the borough.
People, Planet, Pint is part of a wider series of sustainability and climate events which started during COP26 in 2021.
It has grown into a global movement with more than 1,630 events and 30,000 attendees worldwide.
The friendly Wokingham group is open to anyone keen to support the environment, who would like to meet like-minded locals to share tips for success, explore positive change, and develop new friendships.
People, Planet, Pint usually meets at the Rose Inn, Market Place, on the first Thursday of the month.
Their next meeting is on Thursday, January 8.
Sessions are from 6pm until 8pm, and are free to attend.
