MEMBERS of CLASP Wokingham will pick up their spades and get digging this month.
The self advocacy group run by and for people with learning disabilities has big plans for a sensory garden in March, once its Gardening Club restarts after the winter.
The group will be back at their Oakfield Court plot, on Barkham Road on Thursdays from 2pm until 4pm, beginning on March 26.
The gardeners say they can’t wait to get started, and that all are welcome to join them.
It costs £2 to attend.
CLASP Choir will be singing for Red Nose Day outside Waitrose, Wokingham, on Friday,March 20, for an hour from 12.30pm.
They promise to bring joy to the event, and ask Wokingham residents to please bring their pennies and pounds.
Also in March, CLASP’s regular sessions continue, including Movie Mates, Coffee Shop, Dancing to Music, Happy & Healthy Club Sports & Fitness sessions, Craft Club, Evening Drop-In at Sedero Lounge (and The Three Frogs on the second Wednesday), Active Session, Take Notice, Puzzle Club and Choir.
