A building society with a branch in Wokingham has won two national awards.
Newbury Building Society have been named Best Building Society at the prestigious British Bank Awards 2025.
At the same awards, the society was also awarded the Best Building Society Savings Provider, seeing off competition from twelve other building societies.

The British Bank Awards, run by the UK’s foremost financial review site, Smart Money People, are in their 11th year. The awards are decided by votes from customers, with 178,000 cast during this year’s voting period.
The Society, who have a branch in Broad Street, Wokingham, in addition to nine other locations, were also named Trusted Quality Provider at the UK Customer Satisfaction Awards 2025 earlier this year.
