Bailiffs have been called in to a secondary school – after travellers moved in.
This summer, Wokingham borough has seen several encampments of travellers set up across the region, including in Cantley Park and Woodley.
Now a group has settled into playing fields of the Forest School, bringing with them horses, cars and their caravans.
They moved in last Thursday and Thames Valley Police and Wokingham Borough Council have been working towards moving them on, although they are camping on private land and the onus is on the school to move them on.
Wokingham Borough Council said that bailiffs had attended the site today (Monday, August 15) to ask the travellers to move on.
