A TWYFORD-BASED tech company has secured a partnership with ITV.
Tickets to events such as the Coronation Street tour and the new I’m a Celebrity… Jungle Challenge family attraction will now be purchased through accesso’s systems.
The tours give guests the opportunity to explore a live television set and learn how television is made.
ITV will use accesso’s ticketing and distribution systems to connect their events to more people online.
Accesso’s technology is used by more than 1,000 venues in 30 countries to simplify the online purchasing experience.
The firm says its technology helps cut the virtual queues on websites, helping to sell more tickets for popular events.
James Penfold, ITV controller of partnerships, was pleased with the team-up.
He said: “With their worldwide client base and team’s dedication to client services, we are incredibly excited for all the benefits this partnership promises”.
CEO of accesso, Steve Brown, added: “ITV Broadcast is an industry icon that brings its guests’ dreams to life each and every day, both through its rich programming and unique behind-the-scenes experiences.
“We are proud to partner with such a forward-thinking company, helping open doors to even more passionate fans and supporting ITV’s continued dedication to excellence in entertainment.”
