Twyford High Street to close for gas works next week

A stretch of Twyford’s High Street will be closed next week.

The road, between the A321 Wargrave Road and Silk Lane will be closed from 9.30am on Monday (9) until Friday, November 13.

The closure is to allow Fulcrum contractors to undertake an urgent gas main connection in safety.

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this restriction shall be via Wargrave Road, New Bath Road and Old Bath Road, or by this route in reverse.

A Wokingham Borough Council spokesperson apologised for any inconvenience caused by the closure.
