A POPULAR vegan market is returning to Wokingham this weekend, but with a festive twist.
The Wokingham Christmas Vegan Market, organised by Sparkle Vegan, will take over Market Place on Sunday, December 11.
So far, 30 stalls have been confirmed to be selling a range of street food, cakes, pastries, homeware, skincare, eco-friendly products and festive gifts.
Sarah Zeneli, from Sparkle Vegan Events, said: “We are very excited to don our Santa hats
for the fourth Wokingham Vegan Market Christmas Special.
“Our stall holders are wonderful small businesses with brilliant homemade, artisan, ethical and zero waste goods; and they would really appreciate your support.”
Some edible highlights include burgers by Pomodoro E Basilico, bratwurst by The Vegan Street Diner, noodles by Krua Koson, coconut liquor by Uche Rum and nut-based Camembert cheeses by Vegan Bite.
There will also be live music by Simon Williams, and free giveaways including non-alcoholic gin bottles, plastic-free soaps and bulk bags of dog food.
The market is set to take place from 11am and 3pm and admission is free.
