At ANDYSMANCLUB, we want to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and create a judgment-free, confidential space where men can be open about the storms in their lives.
We aim to achieve this through weekly, free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups for men aged over 18. Groups now operate nationwide and are completely volunteer-led, with the vast majority of group facilitators having first interacted with ANDYSMANCLUB when they came through the door as a service user.
The role would suit a male, who has experience either personally or through friends or family members of mental health issues.
The role of Facilitator would include setting & clear up space, welcoming and encourage new members, supporting people to share their thoughts and facilitating set questions each week.
Sessions will be weekly on Mondays, excluding bank holidays, 7-9pm at Radstock Lane Community Centre, Earley.

Volunteers are vital to Age Concern Twyford and District’s goal of improving the lives of people living on their own and/or suffering from social isolation.
The Age Concern Day Centre provides a stimulating, caring and active environment, offering companionship as well as respite care – its small, intimate setting encourages members to talk to each other and to staff.
It offers the chance for social interaction in a safe and supportive environment.
Your involvement will help to improve well-being and help to reduce the isolation so often experienced by people living on their own.
We are looking for volunteers to help at the Centre for one day per week, Monday to Friday, 10am-3pm.
The role will involve, helping settle members when they arrive, providing them with refreshments, water, tea or coffee and biscuits. helping with meals by serving at the tables, clearing the tables, making and distributing beverages and biscuits, collecting in and washing up, chatting to clients and their carers, and helping to tidying up room after the sessions.
