Sight loss can take away independence and confidence and leave those affected isolated.
Berkshire Vision supports hundreds of blind and partially sighted children and adults across the county, helping them to live their lives to the full.
We offer a continually developing sport and activities programme for our visually impaired Members and we need volunteers to help.
As a volunteer, you can either focus on the sport or activity that interests you, or maybe you feel able to volunteer across several activities.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with tandem cycling, rock climbing, golf, running, dragon boating, swimming, tennis and more.
Our members also love to socialise whether in the pub, the theatre or at special events. We are looking for volunteers to attend, support and guide our Members and to join in the fun.
The time commitment varies and is very flexible as we have sports and activities happening all the time.
Volunteers must be a minimum age of 18. Our application procedure consists of an application form and two references. Some positions require a DBS check.
