Chairman of Wokingham Borough Council Holdings Ltd.

Technology marketplace, providing a consulting and business development resource at board level.
Stuart has had several non-executive board and Chairman Roles and is a registered non executive director with the IOD (Institute of Directors).

James Reid, Labour
James is parish councillor on Shinfield Parish council and is familiar to many residents through his campaigning for reduced speeds on main roads in residential areas.

Steven Scarrott, Liberal Democrats
Steve has lived in the Borough for over 30 years.
He is very worried about the level of debt being run up by the Conservative-run Council which is now forecast to approach nearly £400 million, rising from just £50 million only a few years ago. Steve feels this is outrageous and dangerous.
Steve is worried about the Conservative led Council’s plans to build 15,000 houses in Grazeley.
Even with support from the Government, the money needed for infrastructure is short by around £70M, with our residents having to find the shortfall.
We need a mix of housing that satisfies local needs, not more 4-5 bedroomed Houses.
We need essential services, such as buses, roads, schools, GP Surgeries, dentists and the like, all planned into new developments.
Without this infrastructure the area would not be able to function properly.
