THE Waitrose supermarket in Wokingham is receiving a makeover.
The town centre branch will see improved meat, fish, deli and cheese counters, a larger beer, wine and spirit department and improvements to the fruit and veg section.
A new café, customer toilets and a new welcome desk will be installed and a new bakery section, with seating, will be introduced.
Works should be completed in time for the Winter Carnival on the last weekend in November but there will also be some closures in the interim.
On Sunday, October 11, the meat and fish counters will temporarily close and on Sunday, November 1, the cheese and delicatessen counters will temporarily close, along with the café and customer toilets.
Everything will be reopened by Friday, November 27.
