TWO PEOPLE were rescued from the River Thames in Ruscombe earlier this month.
Crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to an area near Henley Bridge at 4.08pm on Friday, July 14.
Also attending was an officer from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Water Rescue Unit from Caversham Road Fire Station.
They helped police to locate the pair.
Once out of the river, they were given some water safety advice, available on the service’s website: rbfrs.co.uk/watersafety.
The crews were on the scene for around 40 minutes.
