A business in Winnersh Triangle Business Park has been vandalised after a pro-Palestianian group smashed windows and defaced the building.
Police were called to Winnersh on Sunday, December 8 after a group were seen causing damage to the headquarters of Keysight Technologies.
Taking to social media, Palestine Action said: ““The headquarters of Keysight Technologies, partners of Israel’s arms trade, after Palestine Action stopped by As well as supplying Elbit Systems,
“Keysight itself is known to directly export military electronics to Israel If you facilitate genocide, then expect Palestine Action!”
Other businesses in the business park were affected, including Buzz Gym who had to evacuate all staff and customers following police presence.
Local Commander for Bracknell and Wokingham, Superintendent Andrew Cranidge, said: “In the early hours of Sunday (8/12) morning, officers were called to Wharfdale Road in Winnersh to reports of criminal damage to a building and also reports that a number of vehicles were damaged.
“Officers attended and following searches of the area a suspicious object was located. As a result the EOD was brought into recover the object. The object was not an explosive device and it did not pose a danger to the wider public.
“Members of the public will see an increased police presence while we continue our investigation and we are following a number of enquiries.
“A thorough investigation is being conducted to identify those involved in this incident. We would ask anyone with information to please call 101 quoting reference 43240593027.”
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police has confirmed that ongoing police activity at Winnersh Meadows is connected to yesterday’s incident in Winnersh Triangle.
