ACUPUNCTURIST and author Tina MacNaughton will speak in Wokingham about how to get through what can be a challenging and difficult time for many.
Since graduating from The College of Chinese Integrated Medicine, Reading, in 2009, she has been practising as an acupuncturist in her own clinic.
She is interested in women’s health, and has a post-graduate diploma in gynaecology, obstetrics and fertility for Chinese medical practitioners.
Her talk, Menopause and beyond, will focus on managing this stage of life, and afterwards. from a complementary health perspective.
Ms MacNaughton said: ’I’ll talk not only about the menopause, but about what follows afterwards too, because symptoms may continue to be troublesome if not managed.
“It is important to understand our changing bodies and to learn about the range of treatment options available for self-empowerment and for happier, healthier later years.’
Visitors to the talk will be able to visit Ms MacNaughton’s information stand, and to ask questions at the end.
The event is at Wokingham Library on Wednesday, November 22 at noon.
