Plan for 190 homes in village near Finchampstead (Wokingham app 252208)
The development company Cemex UK Properties is seeking to build 190 homes in Eversley, over the Wokingham Borough border with Harts District Council.
The project would see the homes be built off the B3272 Reading Road, with a suitable alternative natural greenspace (SANG) also being created to the south of the site.
The village is a short drive from Yateley and Sandhurst and the tri-county area of Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey.
Wokingham Borough Council is holding a consultation into the plan, which closes on October 10.
A gym and restaurant are set to be added to a large office building in Bracknell.
The Origin building near the town centre is currently occupied by the Jobcentre, and is set to get the new facilities to provide ‘additional vitality’.
Further afield, neighbours are being consulted on a plan for 190 homes in a village near Finchampstead and the tri-county area.

The remaining 72 per cent of the building remains unoccupied.

Hockey pitch to replace playing field at Wellington College (Bracknell app 24/00779/FUL)
An existing playing field is set to be replaced with a new artificial hockey pitch at Wellington College in Crowthorne.
The new pitch will be floodlit and allow the hockey team at the college to play all year round.
On assessment, a planning officer judged that the benefits of the pitch would outweigh the loss of the grass playing field, and that visitors would be accommodated in a 32-space car park.
The all-weather pitch was therefore approved on September 22.
