Youngsters in the borough can look forward to a festival of children’s writing and authors.
Wokingham Children’s Book Festival brings 13 events to the town hall, leisure centre, and library.
Children can meet their favourite authors, learn more about the creative process of coming up with characters and have a go themselves by taking part in drawing activities.

This year’s line-up includes Nick Sharratt, Holly Webb, Iszi Lawrence, Jane Elson and Clare Bevan.
Each workshop is followed by a book signing, and sessions are interactive and family-friendly.
The festival is being held on the weekend of 14 and 15 October,
