Wokingham & Emmbrook drawn to face Cinderford Town in FA Cup as pre-season starts

Wokingham & Emmbrook have been drawn to face Hellenic League side Cinderford Town in the Extra Preliminary Round of this season’s Emirates FA Cup.

The tie is set to be played on Saturday, August, 5.

The reward for victory is a Preliminary Round home tie against near neighbours Binfield.

In the Izuzu FA Vase, the Sumas will travel to the winners of Shirehampton versus Wantage Town in the second qualifying round on September 23, having received a bye in the first round.

Basingstoke Town will be the visitors to Lowther Road in the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round, with the tie set to be played week commencing September 4.

The Sumas continued their build up to the start of the season with a narrow 1-0 defeat against Fleet Town at Hart Leisure Centre on Saturday.

BRACKNELL TOWN FC were also in pre-season action with a friendly match against Wealdstone FC.

The Robins lost out 3-2 as their preparations for the upcoming campaign continue.

Bracknell will face Marlow, Gloucester City, Chertsey Town, Enfield Town, Hartley Wintney and Slough Town before the start of competitive action.
