TODAY is the first day of the annual Wokingham Festival, a weekend of food, music and beer.
The annual event takes place in Cantley Park, a short walk from Wokingham town centre.
Don’t forget if you park in the town centre, there are now charges for evenings, Sundays and bank holidays.
Gates for Wokingham Festival open at 11am daily. Today’s events finish at 10.30pm.
There are two stages at Wokingham Festival amd acts have been timed so there will be no clashes – you can enjoy one band and then the other.
The main stage is called the Trademark Windows stage.
Headlining will be Funkin’ Souled Out, and the day is hosted by BBC Radio Berkshire’s Andy Jones.

Wokingham Music Club stage
The second stage is the Wokingham Music Club stageThis starts at noon, and features a mixture of local artists.

- 5.30pm Caitlin McEvoy
- 7pm Purple Grace

The beer tent is organised by the team behind Twyford Beer Festival and will raise money for the male cancer charity Orchid.
The bar will feature a range of real ales, ciders and perries from breweries around the Wokingham area and beyond.
It is a great way to try something different and raise funds for a good cause at the same time.
The Tin & Glass cocktail company will be hosting a second bar, serving … well, cocktails.
Food comes from a range of stalls. Options include ice cream, burgers, Perusvian street food, wood-fired pizza, vegan street food, waffles, bubble tea and Persian cuisine.
For children there will be entertainment from Circus Scene. They can try out a host of activities, enjoy hula hooping and play a selection of table top games.

5.30pm Bubble galore finale
There is an entry fee for Wokingham Festival. Advance tickets are no longer available on the website, so it is pay at the gate.
Day tickets are £20, £5 for under 18s, and free for under eights.
A weekend ticket is £50, £12.50 for under 18s, and free for under eights.
