ALL good things must come to an end and that’s the case with this year’s Wokingham Festival.
This will be the third and final day of this year’s event, taking place in Cantley Park.
The annual celebration of good food, music and drink has been a smash-hit with lots of entertainment.
Today will be no exception.
Make sure you look out for our photographer who will be visiting today – there will be a picture special in Thursday’s print edition of Wokingham Today, on sale at all good newsagents, petrol stations and supermarkets across the borough.
Don’t forget that if you use Wokingham Borough Council-owned car parks in the town centre, there is now a fee to pay to park.
Gates open for Wokingham Festival at 11am, with today’s music ending at the earlier time of 8pm.
There are two stages at Wokingham Festival amd acts have been timed so there will be no clashes – you can enjoy one band and then the other.
Trademark Windows Stage
Today’s host is Darren Redick from Planet Rock.
The music starts at noon.

Wokingham Music Club stage
The second stage is the Wokingham Music Club stage.
This starts at noon, and features a mixture of local artists.
The line-up is:
- 12.45pm Phantom Booth
- 2pm One Last Day
- 3.15pm Lilac
- 4.30pm James Hollinsworth
- 5.45pm Azure
Food and drink at Wokingham Festival
The beer tent is organised by the team behind Twyford Beer Festival and will raise money for the male cancer charity Orchid.
The bar will feature a range of real ales, ciders and perries from breweries around the Wokingham area and beyond.
It is a great way to try something different and raise funds for a good cause at the same time.
The Tin & Glass cocktail company will be hosting a second bar, serving … well, cocktails.
Food comes from a range of stalls. Options include ice cream, burgers, Perusvian street food, wood-fired pizza, vegan street food, waffles, bubble tea and Persian cuisine.
Family activities
For children there will be entertainment from Circus Scene. They can try out a host of activities, enjoy hula hooping and play a selection of table top games.
Activities include:
11am Circus workshops throughout the day
2pm Hula hoop workshop
4.15pm Puzzles including Rubik’s cubes
5.30pm Bubble galore finale
How much does it cost to get in?
There is an entry fee for Wokingham Festival. Advance tickets are no longer available on the website, so it is pay at the gate.
Day tickets are £20, £5 for under 18s, and free for under eights.
A weekend ticket is £50, £12.50 for under 18s, and free for under eights.
