THE FIRST film of the year from the Wokingham Film Society is screened at the Whitty Theatre next Thursday, January 10.
The group has chosen Hotel Salvation (PG) for the showing, which starts at 7.30pm.
A multi-award-winning movie from India, it tells the story of a man accompanying his father to Varanasi when the old man decides he’s about to die, and says he wants to do so in the holy city.
Entry is £6.50 or £4 for members.
