A charity dedicated to feeding Wokingham’s less fortunate is calling for donations of long-life foods, children’s tooth care products, and nappies.
Despite a generous wave of baby food and formula donations – which has led Wokingham Food Bank to cap the products – the group still requires various necessities.
And the items which the charity have a shortage of are tinned potatoes, sponge puddings, long-life fruit juice, fruit squash, sugar, tea bags, children’s toothpaste, children’s toothbrushes, washing powder, and size 6 nappies.
Wokingham Food Bank is a volunteer-led organisation committed to helping those in need. The group provides three days’ nutritionally balanced food and support to local people referred to the charity by care agencies in the borough.
