WOKINGHAM Lions Club has lots of fun events planned for 2026.
Individuals, small businesses, groups or charities can all join in with the fun.
Events will include the Wokingham Walk, Wokingham May Fayre, the town’s Classic Motor Show, a Swimathon, and comedy and music nights.

First in the calendar is The Wokingham Walk, celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year.
Residents can enjoy the arrival of spring with a walk of five, 10 or 15 miles in local countryside.
It’s an opportunity for walkers on their own or with family and friends to get active and fundraise for good causes.

Next on the list of family fun is the Wokingham May Fayre.
The much-loved town centre event attracts thousands for an entertaining day out.
Booking is now open for stall holders at the event.

It is followed by the Wokingham Classic Motor Show, now in its third year.
It brings together classic car owners, motoring enthusiasts, families, and local businesses for a vibrant day in the heart of the town.
Owners of classic or unusual vehicles are invited to exhibit at the event, which the Lions say will be bigger and better this year.

In September the Wokingham Swimathon, also in its third year, enables charities, schools and groups to raise funds for themselves or others.
Not a race, but a fun event, each team of eight swims in relay for 50 minutes to support their chosen good cause.

Wokingham Comedy Nights and live music nights from Wokingham Music Club both offer multiple opportunities for entertainment throughout the year.
Wokingham Lions raise thousands of pounds for charity through the club’s many events in the town.
Here are the important diary dates:
Wokingham Walk will take place on Sunday, April 19
Wokingham May Fayre is on Monday, May 4
Wokingham Classic Motor Show is on Saturday, June 20
Wokingham Swimathon will take place on Sunday, September 20
