Wokingham came together to remember the fallen on Remembrance Sunday, and again for a two-minute silence on Tuesday.
Sunday’s annual Remembrance Parade included the deputy lieutenant of Berkshire, Mrs Linsey Beard JP DL, the high sheriff of Berkshire Shaun Taylor DL, Wokingham high steward Lucy Zeal, Wokingham town mayor ClIr. Louise Timlin, Wokingham borough mayor ClIr Carol Jewel, and Wokingham MP Clive Jones, as well as many organisations and community groups.
A spokesperson for Wokingham town council said: “It is always a day of deep reflection and tradition here in Wokingham, and seeing so many residents at the town hall and lining the streets to All Saints church made the day even more special
“We wish to thank all those in attendance.
“Thank you to everyone who joined us to remember, reflect, and honour those who gave so much. We will remember them.”
