A ROAD in Wokingham town has been closed due to a police incident.
Full details are not currently available, but diversions are currently in place, with buses running to an alternative path.
Wokingham Borough Council tweeted just after 11pm last night that Reading Road had been shut near Larch Avenue.
This is the area between Oxford Road and Holt Lane, and close to the Free Church burial ground.

Reading Buses says its Lion 4/X4 services are being diverted between Barkham Road and Bearwood Road, meaning the service is running through Sindlesham to get to Wokingham Station.

It is hoped that the road can be reopened in time for the morning rush hour.
