A NEW Repair Cafe opens its doors this weekend in Wokingham.
Residents with broken items, are encouraged to visit the group to get things fixed, rather than sending them to landfill.
Toasters, bikes, toys, and hairdryers are among the hundreds of items that technicians at the cafe will do their best to mend.
Residents with more unusual repairs are asked to complete an online form in advance to give the team an idea of what tools to bring to their next event.
The Wokingham Repair Cafe will run at All Saints Church on the second Saturday of each month.
Repairs will be carried out for free, but donations are welcomed.
The first Wokingham Repair Cafe will take place at All Saints Church’s SpaceForAll cafe, on Saturday, April 13, from 10am until 1pm.
