A WOODLEY church is to welcome families to an outdoor service on Sunday, August 7.
St John the Evangelist is holding its August gathering for Wild Church.
The event starts at 4pm, and will include storytelling around a campfire, with the opportunity to toast some marshmallows in the process.
It will also include some water play suitable for this time of year and there will also be a chance to explore some hidden corners of the churchyard. Organisers encourage people to bring a change of clothes.
