Five teams battled it out competing in the Twyford Living Advent Calendar children’s quiz at St Thomas More RC Church on Monday, December 3.
St Mary’s Church team emerged as victors.
The village teams had been tested on their knowledge about Christmas, sport and films. They also had to identify six different crisp flavours.
St Mary’s team members were: Joseph Errington (10), Daniel Procter (10), Amy Procter (7), Jacob Scholes (6), Tiggy Hart (10), Rupert Hart (5), Daniel Ricketts (8) and Helen Ricketts (10).
Jane Kelly from St Thomas More said: “All the children were very enthusiastic. We’d like to thank everyone for coming and making it such a lovely event.”
