If so, the Official Monster Raving Loony party is welcoming applications for potential candidates to represent them in the constituency.
Speaking exclusively to Wokingham Today, party leader Alan ‘Howlin Laud’ Hope said: “I can confirm we are looking for someone to represent us in Wokingham.”
The party failed to secure a representative at the last general election in 2019.
The party last fielded a candidate in 2010 when ‘Bananaman’ Top Cat (TC) Owen achieved 329 votes – representing a 0.6% share of the overall vote.
To stand as a candidate, you must be an existing member of the party and have a £500 deposit – which will be refunded if achieving more than 5% of the overall share of valid votes.
